The story began when Bella came into IRR care with an unknown history which included
us not knowing if she had been spayed. Although no obvious scar could be found, to
save her an unnecessary operation, we did as we always would in these circumstances and
erred on the side of caution by waiting for a season. That way, if she wasn't already spayed,
we would be able to do it at the safest time for her, three months afterwards.
Well, not only had she not been spayed but she was hiding a guilty secret ... in fact,
