In Memory of Dylan Dog
Dylan wasn’t an IRR dog, however, his sister Lilly was, so when ‘Dylan Dog’ sadly crossed to Rainbow Bridge at the age of 15, Elaine Pavis, his beloved mum, decided to raise some money and donate the funds to Irish Retriever Rescue.
Elaine wrote: “We would really like to donate the money raised to Irish Retriever Rescue. Neither of our boys were rescues, but Lilly was & these charities are really struggling for funds, with more dogs than ever being surrendered due to the increased cost of living. Over the years with Dylan & Lilly I have done around 10 sponsored walks, organised & attended various fun dog shows & other events, so it seems really fitting for us that this is used for a dog charity for golden retrievers & we know Dylan would approve.”
At time of writing, the oroginal target of £2,500 has been smashed and the total is over £3,700.
Well done and thank you to everyone who’s donated.
