Barley Ellen

RIP Barley July 2022

I am absolutely heartbroken to announce the passing of my beautiful Barley a week ago. I am still in shock. Barley was just 7 years old and was one of ‘Bruce’s little bonus’ puppies.

Barley passed very suddenly and very unexpectedly of a pericardial effusion. There was no way we would have known and the condition has no warning signs. Just 12 hours before he was on his favourite run with his favourite ball.

I would like to thank the IRR for giving me the gift of having Barley, I have had the best 7 years with him and would have given anything to have had more time with him.

History

Barley is one of the 6 puppies born to Rosie on 3rd May 2015. He is one of 3 boys, the others being Bear and Moe. The girls are Ava, Millie and Freya.

He is a lovely boy and, like his siblings, he has been lucky enough to find a wonderful forever home.
