Beau
Age: Just under 2 years old
Sex: Male – neutered
History
Beau is being surrendered to IRR by his owner who is very sad to see him leave. However, Beau has started to show dominant behaviour with a small child who visits their home, and they don’t have time to give him the training and guidance that he requires.
Personality:
Beau is a truly beautifuyl boy, full of personality and has been somewhat spoiled in his home! He is typical of a young dog, very playful and always wants attention. He loves to steal shoes and socks and enjoys games of ‘chase’. He adores long walks and is a fantastic swimmer. He is somewhat wary of strangers. In his home he has bared his teeth and growled as a sign of attempted dominance.
Beau’s Dream Home:
Beau needs a home with an experienced dog handler who will be able to help him understand his place in the pack, and what behaviours are expected of him. As heis a young, active dog he needs a family who will keep him well exercised and stimulated mentally.
Behaviour with other animals:
Beau is OK with other dogs.
