Bella Halls
REPORT FROM ROMANIA
According to the people at ROLDA, Bela was a medium sized, medium haired Crossbreed. She was approximately 3 years old and was one of 3 siblings. She has a sister (Ada) and brother (Toto). She is people friendly and good with dogs/bitches and seems okay with cats but has only been tested whilst on a lead. She is spayed, vaccinated etc and is the one in the front of the picture with Ada behind.
FIRST ASSESSMENT FROM KERRY
Bela is really playful, likes walks but can be nervous if there is a lot of activity going on. She just needs to be taken gently until she is used to noises of traffic etc. She gets on well with the other dogs, she and Ellie have played non-stop. She also plays with little Gracie and, despite being bigger than Gracie is very gentle.
UPDATE ON BELLA’S PROGRESS FROM SUE
Bela, now Bella, went into foster in Somerset with one of her Romanian cousins, Peppy, and his family of humans, Sue and Phil, and their other dogs Sam and Tessa.
Sue says “Bella has settled in with us very well. She was a little unsettled the first night and slept with us, on the floor in our bedroom, but last night she was more than happy to stay and sleep with our other dogs. She is a very friendly little dog, with both humans and other dogs.
Bella enjoyed a walk in the fields this morning and walks well on a lead. She loves to play and has short outbursts of great exitement. The photos were quite difficult to take because, when she realises you are taking a picture, she tries to grab the camera. I think that she thinks that she could make a better job of it!!!!!!!!!!!!”
FURTHER UPDATE
Bella has now been with us for a week. She has settled really well and gets on brilliantly with the other dogs, in particular Sam, the collie. She seems to be a very intelligent dog and catches on quickly to what she is allowed and what she is not allowed to do. She has a great fondness for shoes! She collects various shoes and slippers and stores them in her bed, she does this without damaging them. Bela is a real little character and is very loving. The greeting you get when you come in is wonderful.
BELLA IN HER NEW HOME
Bella is now living happily on the outskirts of Bath with Sue and son, Adam, their bird and their 3 cats. Sue says “She is settling in nicely and is getting along really well with friends and family. She is doing OK with the cats and has a nice doggy friend, who lives nearby to play with.”

UPDATE 17.8.2013
According to her Mum Sue, little Bella is doing very well. She will walk around the field off-lead and waits when she is told. It is only shooting and other bangs that still frighten her.
She has a lot of dog friends. When they go to the field where she walks, there is a GSD called Sonny who licks her all over the face. When he spots Bella in the field he pulls his owner over to see her.
At the moment, she is being a foster mum to a kitten called Harley. She plays with her and makes sure she is all right. She also has another cat friend called Spud who follows her everywhere, all around the house and even when she goes for a walk.
Sue says: “We all really enjoy having her and couldn’t have asked for a better dog”.
