Buddy
Buddy’s History
Buddy is one of eight 3 month old puppies surrendered to IRR by their breeder
Fosterer’s first report – UK: 18th December 2012
We have had Buddy for a few days now.
He was a little nervous first of all but he has soon found his feet and is a typical lively pup.
He gets on extremely well with Dottie so hasn’t appeared to have missed his siblings at all. They run around together like a pair of lunatics and Tess and Harv tolerate him and just look at him in disgust!!
Poor Harvey has totally lost his bed now as Buddy and Dottie have taken it over completely!
He has met the cats and given the opportunity will chase them but is quite happy being in the same room with them.
We have taken him out for a walk and he quite happily plods along and takes everything in his stride, meeting other dogs and people.
Fosterer’s second report – 29th December 2012
Buddy is going to be such a handsome chap when he grows up and he is weighing in at 14.5kg already.
He is a typical inquisitive puppy: into everything given half the chance. He is absolutely adorable with an endless amount of energy, wearing us all out including Tess and Harvey. He adores our other little foster dog and they’re always getting into mischief together. He looks up to Harvey and follows him everywhere, I think he aspires to be like him when he grows up and has even pinched his bed along with Dottie, lol!
Buddy can be a little nervous when meeting people and he’s met lots of them. He walks very well on the lead for such a young puppy. We have even taken him in the pub where he has had lots of fuss.
Buddy has gone to his forever home – 6 January 2013
This is what Buddy’s adopters had to say:
Buddy has been and brought a new collar and lead, had a nice long walk and met most of the neighbours and played with most of Louis’s toys and is now exhausted asleep by the open fire. Thank you so much for letting us adopt him we already love him so much.
Kind regards Simon, Melanie And Abbie x
