Daisy

Lauren was a dear little 4 months old puppy when she was surrendered to IRR. We believe her to be a Golden Retriever x Collie.

HAPPY IN HER FOREVER HOME (APRIL 2019)

Tracey, her forever Mum says Willow and Daisy (Lauren) are doing just great. We changed her name as she’s got such a pretty face and I’ve got a niece called Lauren. She’s just gorgeous and she gets on really well with Willow. She is a very happy and loving dog.

We think Daisy is a lovely, much softer name and it follows the floral sort of theme. Everyone was delighted when they found out it was Tracey and family who were adopting her.

Daisy was quite people possessive once she had been here a few days and got her paws under the table so I knew she would need Willow to tell her off which thankfully she did in the end. In fact, Willow has put Daisy in her place a few times so, now, they are playing great together.

Daisy is fully house trained and responds to her name now too. We are very much looking forward to going to puppy training.

The Vet said the age everyone thought she was when we had her was about right as she had all her adult teeth.

Thank you to IRR and especially Paula for everything.

HISTORY

Apparently, the owners made a mistake by getting her.

Once in the UK, she went into foster with Paula.

HEALTH

As would be expected of such a young pup, she is in good health and very lively.

PERSONALITY and SOCIAL LEARNING

Paula said “Despite her diminutive size, she was no pushover and could hold her own with the bigger dogs. I suspect she is much more Collie than Goldie!!!

Housetraining was a work in progress when she was here as was everything else. She has a lot to learn as she gets bigger and bigger”.

LAUREN’S DREAM HOME

Little Lauren needs a home ideally with another dog and with someone who has experience of very intelligent Collie x Golden Retrievers. We were all delighted when she found exactly the right home for her with Tracey and Willow.
