DUKE WENT TO RAINBOW BRIDGE FAR TOO SOON

Duke was a wonderful boy. He came into our care 2 years ago after his owners had taken him to be put to sleep, simply because they were moving house. He was fostered by Ken and Julie, who fell in love with him and adopted him. He has enjoyed two more years of top quality life, thanks to them.

He was a great pal to Joy’s Fable and Tara and he welcomed a very heavily pregnant Kaleigh into his home without turning a hair. As always, he was gentle and kind and a brilliant ambassador for his breed.

Rest in peace, Duke. Rainbow Bridge will be an even better place with you there to lend a friendly paw.

HISTORY

In 2005, Duke was due to be put to sleep because his owners were emigrating despite him being only about 7yrs. He came over at the same time as Carrie and co and was fostered by Julie who fell in love with and subsequently adopted him.

Duke had two wonderful extra years with Ken & Julie but, sadly, then went to Rainbow Bridge.
