Flo
FLO’S HISTORY
Flo was surrendered to IRR
Fosterer’s 1st report – UK 28th October 2012
I’ve called this small lass Flo.
She had a good night’s sleep.
She eats on her own; she likes my older cat.
We are working on house training.
Fosterer’s 2nd report – 22nd November 2012
I think Flo is about ready to find her home. We have been able to put a bit of meat on her and she is looking good but still on the thin side. She eats very well and will now eat in sight of me and Zoey. She now takes treats from us so long as we show her them before we give them to her.
She is grand with my cats.
This last week she has started to come back when off the lead (in a fenced area) and has started to run around the compound field. She is daft with the leaves.
She still tends to walk in between my legs when on the lead but it is less frequent. She has a halter that the lead clicks onto.
Flo is 95% house trained, I don’t always see the signs like Zoey gives me for the loo, so it’s more my fault than hers I think.
She barks when on her own, however, when left with Zoey she is fine and cuddles up to her or to the cats, whoever is warmest.
At times very loud sounds still bother Flo, but not like when she came.
She has interacted with a 14mth old, and my young nephews 6 & 10. Flo has had fuss from the gas man, window cleaner etc. It would not surprise me if Flo did become a ladies dog. Don’t ask why please as I don’t know but she gravitates to women more than men BUT she is fine with both.
She sleeps in the kitchen on a rug with Zoey and if I’m in bed (I work nights ) I put the radio on for them both. Flo has not mastered “sit down” yet.
December 2012
Flo has gone to her Forever Home
