Holly

Holly is a stunning 4.5 year old Golden Retriever. She is golden in colour with a vivacious personality and, like most Goldens, she is very affectionate. This beautiful girl has been groomed, is spayed and has received her inoculations.

HISTORY

Holly came from a truly loving home but, with three young children, it was felt that she wasn’t getting all the attention she needed. This girl is really special and Kathryn fell totally in love with her.

PERSONALITY

This pretty girl with a beautiful nature is, in every way, what you would want in a Golden. This little lady is as perfect as they come.

SOCIAL LEARNING

Housetraining: She is house trained.
Food: Naturally, as with all rescues, it is advisable to feed them separately. Holly isn’t food or toy possessive but, in a strange home, it is always wise to err on the side
of caution just until the new addition finds their paws.
Travel: The car is her favourite place in the world and she loves to go for rides in it.
Lead walking: Holly has a fair amount of commands and loves walking.
Children: She was brought up with children but can knock them over if they are very small. Dogs: She is currently in foster and is already a lover of classical music and has a lovely male Labrador with whom she goes walking.

DREAM HOME

Holly needs to be loved as she always has been. She cannot be homed on her own and, most especially, needs a chilled male that is older than her and who won’t try to dominate her but will help her blossom and will be her friend.

Ideally, she is looking for a couple who can give her the time needed to help her personality develop with lots of adventures and exploits. The family who is blessed to have Holly will do somersaults as she is so fantastic.
