WENT PEACEFULLY TO RAINBOW BRIDGE in EARLY 2010
Honey was surrendered to IRR because, apparently, she did not get on with her owner’s other bitch but the real reason was she had an enormous tumour.
Honey went into foster with Ali of Greyhound Rescue just as a favour to Pauline and stayed there for 4 years. Honey Bee’s huge personality shone out and everbody loved her very much.
Ali and Ty had fought many battles for her and with the help of Nick Thompson (Holistic Vet) she managed to lead a very happy, healthy and active life with all her greyhound brothers and sisters despite the early dire prognosis for her.
At the Reunions, she like to have a walkabout with her Aunty Lynne and go into the Parade of Rescues with her.
Sadly, after 4 years, the cancer finally returned but this time there was nothing more that could be done and Honey Bee was given release to go to Rainbow Bridge.
