Honey
POOR HONEY NEEDED REHOMING AGAIN.
She is a chocolate Labrador Cross. In 2008, she was aged between 3yrs and 4yrs and was spayed. She needed to be rehomed because of the arrival of a new baby and health and hygiene issues.
Her current owner said ” Honey is a great character and is very loving. She loves her belly being tickled and will collapse on the floor with legs in the air!! She is very good with children, we have four, and have never had any cause for concern.
She is very good off the lead and will happily trot off a few feet in front but will come back when called, she adores playing fetch and will play all day, and will drop the ball with no trouble ready to be thrown again.
She is fine with other people when out. She will run up to people and sit in front of them hoping for attention and fuss. She does the normal bark at the postman or people coming to the door but with no vicious intent, strangers in the home are welcomed with no aggression, just a wagging tail.
Honey does have a habit of jumping up occasionally, which she gets told off for, but, apart from that, has no real issues. She is in very good health and has recently had her vaccinations, nails clipped and a check by the vet. She is a bit over weight and could do with losing a few kg but, other than that, is fine. She is no problem when she is left alone if we go out and is fine at night. She is also fully house trained with no accidents to date.
I would say she is good with dogs but she only meets a few locally and happily plays with them as long as they leave her rear alone, otherwise she does tell them to back off but, again, not viciously. We don’t know what she would be like with cats. She’s never barked at one but she’s never been too near to one either so we can’t comment on that”.
