Juno

Juno is an 18 month Golden Retriever. He is deep golden in colour with a quiet personality, and like most Goldens, very affectionate. This beautiful boy has been groomed and has been neutered. He was micro-chipped and inoculated and came through Ennis Pound via Martina, from Babydog Rescue.

Juno initially scared, is now a great all rounder, good with other dogs, small or big. He is learning to be good with cats and horses through his fosterer Iona. Juno developed an amazing bond with Iona and happily settled in with her family, sharing his bed with their Jack Russells and having great fun with their 3 Red Setters. Juno needs a busy household with lots going on. He needs to feel safe and have a constant routine. He is a true family dog who needs lots of interaction.

Juno although young, does need an experienced owner who will put manners on him in a gentle, yet firm way. Naturally, with all rescues it is advisable to feed them separately. He isn’t food or toy possessive but it is always wise to guard on the side of caution until he finds his way.

THE PERFECT HOME

Juno has landed on his paws with Iona, who spent a lot of time with him helping him understand that he was loved. Juno’s life is full to the brim with dogs, cats and horses and lots and lots of adventures. He wakes Iona in the morning with lots of licks and snuggles. Yes, Juno has finally found ‘the perfect home’ with Iona and her family in Ireland, where he will be treasured and loved forever, another fantastic success story.
