Kelsey Lambourn
KELSEY is about 2 yrs old and he was dumped outside the pound one night. He has a fabulous nature and is used to living in a house. He sits beside you and leans into you with his head up. Absolutely gorgeous. When he was with Sandie, he ran around her garden shouting “I’m Free”. Kelsey seemed to be quite well trained and would sit on command and get down as soon as you said “down” if he was jumping up.
He went on to be fostered in the UK by Pauline in Somerset before finding his forever home in Oxfordshire.
UPDATE on KELSEY from his foster mum
KELSEY has settled in well here in sunny Somerset and is making new friends. He seems to be best friends with my naughty Gizmo. He is a tall boy, average build who has lovely wavy mid gold coat.
There have been no accidents and he is eating well.
He is a very loving dog who appears to have no particular fears although the flower essences he is on will, no doubt, be helping him with any problems he may have had. Kelsey, unlike many rescue dogs, absolutely adores men so that is really good news.
He has had his little boy op today (17.6.07).
UPDATE from his forever mum, Martina
Kelsey is now living in Oxfordshire and has settled into his new home very well. He has explored every inch of the garden and has played with his new friend, Laker (who is a young golden retriever boy rescued by Many Tears). He will have acres of space to run and play in from now on.
FURTHER UPDATE
Kelsey has settled in really well and is part of our family now!!! Laker and he are best friends and play, eat or sleep together, as if they have known each other forever. He is a very good jumper and we have witnessed jumping our 1.2m gate, no problem. He is getting to know his name and seems to follow Laker on our trips. We are very happy to have added him to our family.
