Sad News 23 August 2024

Although not an IRR dog herself, Lexie helped train many IRR rescues in her 13 years. She passed to Rainbow Bridge on 23 August 2024.

“In February 2011 we collected a little white ball of fluff who spent the next 13 and a half years charming everyone who met her. She saw a grand total of 6 other dogs pass through our lives and took each arrival and departure in her stride, teaching puppies right from wrong and tolerating the IRR adults who joined us with her usual aplomb. Always first in the queue for food, she could sniff out an abandoned banana skin or take away bag faster than any other dog, which made for some interesting walks, as she never let go of her prizes. She was, quite honestly, the nicest dog you could hope to meet and we are sure she is now reorganising Rainbow Bridge to her own liking. Run free, sweet girl, you are loved.”
