BECOMING BEST FRIENDS WITH LOTTIE AND JACKSON

In mid-November, Lottie & Jackson were perplexed and told their Facebook friends “There’s something going on in this household. Mum & Dad have been shopping, getting a new bed, new toys, bowls and Mum said they’re not for us!!! They were not even our Christmas pressies. We is not amused.

They are all in hall cupboard and we can’t get in, to have a proper nosey, most disappointed. Our Mum has been a bit poorly lately & we’ve been a bit worried about her so, maybe, it’s something to cheer us all up. We is all agog!! Hope it’s not a cat!!! They’ve got sharp claws”.

Still there was no need to worry. It was just Loki, one of the 9 IRR pups born to Jassie. Jackson & he soon became best buddies but Lottie wasn’t so sure at first. He had been in foster with Diane Brooks whilst Barb underwent surgery in hospital followed by a very nasty infection. She had been dying to introduce Loki to his IRR family and was extremely grateful to Diane for stepping in.

“Methinks he looks too smug!! Darling Loki put a plant pot over the hole he had dug, so what does he do next? He climbs in the plant pot and digs in there. Roll on snow!!”

UPDATE FROM THE BOYS (4.3.2020)

“Loki & Jackson here: We’ve been barfed!!! and we are not happy. We now stink! and Lottie didn’t have to have a barf, so not fair.

We are off to visit our welsh cousins this weekend & we hear they are getting barfed too. Between us all, revenge will be ours!! We will hunt out a dead fish to roll on!!!”
