Luca Dray
HIS CIRCUMSTANCES SUDDENLY CHANGED
In 2014, Luca, a Golden Retriever Cross now 7 year olds old came back into IRR care after his original adoptive family’s circumstances changed, meaning they had to surrender him.
Having been living with another dog , we felt Luca would be happy to be rehomed with another dog. He was reported to be fine with cats but could be a little nervous at times so we did not recommend him living with children.
He is, of course, house trained, knows many commands and travels well in the car. He loves human company so we knew he would relish someone being at home much of the time.
He has a very beautiful, full coat and loves being combed with his grooming mit. A lovely, playful boy who would delight in lots of human attention and long walks.
September 2014
Luca went to live in his true Forever Home with Chance.
NEW HOME UPDATE FROM HIS MUM (28.11.2014
Val tells us that Chance and Luca are doing fine although he is still being bossy. Luca loves his ball at the park, can be let off his lead and he is very obedient. Although they meet lots of other dogs, Luca’s main thing is his ball. Among other things, he has a frisby for Christmas so Val is interested to see what he makes of that.
They both have nice new coats for Christmas (Luca’s is blue and Chance’s is red) so, if the Winter is bad, they will be nice at cosy when they are in the park.
Halloween and the subsequent firework season were a bit of a nightmare so, ever since, both Chance and Luca have been sleeping upstairs.
THE SADDEST OF NEWS
Suddenly and sadly, Luca’s pal Chance crossed Rainbow Bridge on 12th February 2010 having enjoyed a wonderful Christmas together with Luca, Val and John. The house is so much quieter now.
