Lulu

LULU is a two year old Golden Retriever, a very loving little dog. She had been passed around a few times in her short life and had not had chance to settle with a loving family and no-one had taken the time to train her. All this changed when she came into the care of IRR. She went to a very experienced foster home and Gemma, her fosterer, worked hard with her for several months until she was ready to be adopted.

She lived with three other dogs and children in her foster home and Lulu was trained to walk nicely on the lead as she’d had no training in the past with this. She soon learnt to sit, lay down, wait and gives a paw. She learnt very quickly.

Gemma found that Lu was a darling and a dream in the car. She worked hard on Lu’s obedience and soon Lulu was able to pass a training course at the local pet dog training club.

We looked for a home for her where someone would give her lots of time and commitment to continue her training.

We found the perfect home for Lulu and she is now happily living in Devon.
