Gone to Rainbow Bridge

GOODBYE TO THE KINDEST BOY

On 25.10.2015, Julie told us her sad news “We have lost our beautiful Max to cancer. It came to a head on Sunday and we had to make that awful decision to let him go. We are very emotional at the moment as it’s very raw.

Max was the most friendliest, kindest, dog we’ve ever had. We miss him terribly. He’s left a big hole in our lives”.

From the moment he was adopted in January 2008, Max has had a wonderful life and it is heartbreaking that he has been cruelly taken too soon. Thank you to Julie and family for the love they gave to this gorgeous boy.

Fly free now, Max. Yet another golden angel has gone to Rainbow Bridge.

HISTORY

Max is about 17 months old and is neutered. He loves children and doesn’t mind cats. He would feel more secure in a home with children as he misses them when they’re not around. He’s very placid but would kill you with affection. He’s housetrained, walks well on a halti (albeit, he’s excited and pulls to begin with). He is frightened of wind and loves to be close to you when it’s very windy.

IN FOSTER WITH JAN

Jan says, “Max arrived here safe and sound. He is a really adorable dog, is extremely strong on the lead and pulls like an express train, extremely friendly and incredibly handsome, with a really lovely smile, traditional golden colouring, very slightly overweight….all in all a really super dog.
Max doesn’t stop smiling!

Doolie and Max won’t stop puppy playing, until they drop asleep exhausted, then they wake up and do it all over again. Doolie is the instigator of all the puppy fun – they will miss each other I expect.
