HAPPY AND HEALTHY IN HER FOREVER HOME (AUGUST 2015)
Suzanne says “Meg has settled in really well and she did from day one. As soon as we got her back to the caravan (we were in Wales on holiday when we picked her up) she snuggled up to us and her new brother, Clyde. It was as if she knew she would be looked after and loved and she is. She is a loving girl and loves nothing more than to be touched. She loves to get on the bed with Nige, her Dad, when I get up to go to work.
She loves her food and has put a little weight on but we can’t resist those eyes when the two of them sit looking lovingly at you, so they are spoilt.
Meg loves her walks although she still pulls occasionally on the lead. She’s not so keen on the water unless, as most Goldies, it’s a shallow puddle. As we have a caravan in Wales we often visit the beach so we are trying to get her used to the water. Clyde loves the water and swims in the pools but she’s not so keen.
She has always let us know when she needs to go out but we are quite lucky where we live because if we need to go out and leave them we can leave the doors open into the garden. She is happy and healthy and we are grateful to have had the chance to have her in our family. Thank you”.
History
Meg has reluctantly been surrendered to IRR in Ireland as her current family are struggling to give her the time they feel she deserves.
Personality
Meg is extremely affectionate and makes friends with everyone she meets.
Meg’s dream home
Meg would like someone around most of the time where she’ll get lots of attention and walks. She would also love a home with another resident dog. Meg will easily fit into most homes
and has already passed an obedience test.
