Milly
BEAUTIFUL MILLY HAS A BRILLIANT HOME
She was an absolute delight from the word go.
HISTORY
FRAN (now Milly) is a labrador cross aged about 4 yrs and she had recently had puppies when she came into IRR care. Sandie said “she is really a lot prettier than her photos”.
“She is lovely, quiet, housetrained and gets on well with other dogs. She really loves her home comforts – claimed the sofa straight away. Sadly, she is skin and bone, her ribs are sticking through her skin. She is very trusting”.
“All Fran needs is a lot of TLC and some good food”.
UPDATE 27/03/07
Natasha, her fosterer said:
FRAN has settled in really well. She had her first bath yesterday, as she was filthy, and she was not too impressed but now she now gleams and looks nearly white.
We are teaching her some manners, as she has none, and, so far, we have got the sit but that is about it. She loves her food and the bin.
She is so trusting. It is amazing after what she has been though.
Fran is a lovely gentle lady. She loves all dogs she has met, and loves children. She is listening to us now , she knows her name.
She begs on 2 paws when she wants a treat and loves cuddles on the sofa. She has this strange obsession with big rocks ( slabs ) lol she carries them around in her mouth all day, picks them up, puts them down, tells them off, then picks them up again. It is very sweet and it’s like her baby.
Her collar snapped the other day while on the beach but she didn’t run off. She is a very happy, easy dog although she can be very stubborn when she wants to be lol
UPDATE on MILLY (was FRAN) from Ann, her forever mum
Fran (now known as Milly) has been an absolute delight from the word go and each day that passes she is more and more jolly, her tail is getting waggier and waggier. You should see her playing football, it’s a scream.
She is enjoying her walks, enjoying her food and is well on the way to destroying the garden.
The first night I was all prepared to sleep downstairs with her, thinking that she might be lonely, but she slept like a baby in her own bed in the kitchen. And in the evening, when Adrian and I are in the living room watching TV, she sleeps on the rug in front of the fire doing that doggy dreaming thing where they move their paws and grunt.
We are really grateful that IRR exists and that we have had the chance to adopt Milly.
