Murphy

Dante is a wonderful, 7 month old male Golden Retriever. He is cream, almost white, in colour with a sweet personality. This beautiful boy has been neutered and he has received the necessary inoculations to travel to the UK.

HISTORY

Circumstances decreed, after much deliberation, Dante would have to be found a new home as the owner’s work hours had increased dramatically and they didn’t want to leave him on his own.

He was truly loved and has never known anything but kindness. He was relinquished by the owner through our friends in Cork DAWG.

PERSONALITY
He is the typical puppy….. a whirlwind, a white fluffy cloud who spins, runs and jumps as all happy puppies do. He loves a ball and playing with other dogs. He is nothing but a joy.

SOCIAL LEARNING
Everything is new to him but, with a little training, he will prove to be a fantastic ambassador for his breed.
TRAVEL: He travels wonderfully in the car.
HOUSETRAINING: He is house-trained.
RESOURCE GUARDING: He isn’t food or toy possessive.
LEAD WALKING & RECALL: He walks well on a lead, though his recall needs work.
CHILDREN: He is great with children
DOGS: He loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them. He would be happy living with older Goldens who will be able to show him the ropes and teach him what is acceptable and unacceptable.
CATS: Untested so far

DANTE’S DREAM HOME
Dante needs a home where he will have continued training, as all puppies should, but, mostly, he needs to be surrounded by love and he will give it back in spades. For sure, the family that adopt him will be incredibly lucky.
