TAKEN FAR TOO SOON (2.7.2021)

Patrick said, “My mum’s beautiful boy, aged only 11 and with her for under two years, has gone. Sadly, we thought the vet trip was for arthritis but upon examination, he had a massive splenic tumour which had spread to the heart and lungs… but with no symptoms other than sudden onset lameness… it just shows how these happy dogs can hide illness right up to the end. Sad times are here again so soon. He was the gentlest soul just like an Angel soft and kind with everyone he met, humans and dogs alike. Rest In Peace our beloved IRR Francis.”

HISTORY

A change of name to Francis brought with it a real change in fortunes for lucky “Old Ben”.

At almost 10yrs, after a happy stay in foster, he was adopted in September 2019 by Patrick’s Mum and went to join a very happy band of Golden Retrievers all in their Autumn years.
