PHOEBE is anywhere between 3 and 5 and is now spayed. She wasn’t originally house-trained (and could pee for Ireland) according to Sandie who also said. “Her teeth are very clean but she has an air of maturity about her”.

She was kept in a shed and was recently liberated when she came to IRR. Sandie also said “The poor love doesn’t know what it is to be in a house and relax, she loves to be outside as she believes that’s her place. She’s become quite clingey to me and won’t let Jessica near me (poor Jessica gets it in the neck from all the dogs – Isabelle attacked her big time last week). She may be better in a home as an only dog, where her owner can adore only her. Apart from being a bit overwhelmed by being in a home and one with so may dogs, she’s a very calm lady and loves the car. Her coat was a mess, so, unfortunately, has had to be hacked in places”.

In the UK, Andy and Val fostered her and fell in love with her, as she is a total cuddle monster and absolutely no bother to anyone.

She has now happily gone off to live in a very loving home in Nottinghamshire.
