Poppy

Poppy is a cream coloured, spayed Golden Retriever. She has a gentle, affectionate personality and is very sweet. This wonderful girl has been groomed and has received her vaccinations.

HISTORY

Poppy came from a fabulous home but she was being seriously bullied by her sibling who was jealous of her. The result was that Poppy became very nervous and frightened to such an extent that she shook. Because of this, she is curious about other dogs but is wary of them. This girl is nothing short of stunning. Her previous family were very upset about letting her go but did so as they knew it was the only thing to be done for Poppy’s welfare.

SOCIAL LEARNING
Leadwalking: She walks well on the lead and is really a woman’s dog.
General obedience: She understands a few basic commands so little training is needed with this girl.
Travel: She travels well in the car but is not very happy about getting into it. Housetraining: She is housetrained.
Children: She is fine with children.
In her short time in foster her personality has already started to emerge. Her fosterer is working with her and is helping her overcome her fear of the unknown and things such as loud noises and traffic. She has developed a wonderful bonding relationship with her foster family as she is never left alone.

DREAM HOME
Poppy will suit a quiet home where she is loved and given plenty of time for her personality to emerge.
