Remus Robertson

Gone to Rainbow Bridge

WHY IS LIFE SO CRUEL?

This gorgeous boy found his dream home with Carol in Scotland but, within weeks, his life was to be cruelly snatched away from him.

One minute he was being Remus and the next he clearly wasn’t a well boy. The ultrasound was inconclusive but did show fluid. Remus developed a high heart rate and pale gums and spent the night on a drip. The vet planned further tests for the next day.

He thought it might be a ruptured tumour in his spleen so they did X-rays and had planned an investigatory operation in the morning but that was when everyone’s worst fears were realised. The tumour was way too big to do anything, there was no point in operating and they would simply wait for Carol to get there to be with him when they put him to sleep.

This dear, sweet boy passed gently away on Monday 23rd March 2015. We take comfort from him finding real happiness and true love even though it was for such a short time.

Run free and happy at Rainbow Bridge, darling Remus.

HISTORY

DREAM HOME

Remus is just looking for a forever home where he can be the absolute centre of attention, where he can enjoy his walks and can be sure of receiving lots of love and attention which has, clearly, been missing from his life.
