Rex and Brandy
TWO OLDIES NEEDING A HOME
Rex and Brandy were 17 years and 10 years old respectively. They were surrendered because their owner died and the family couldn’t control them. They needed a loving home where they could live out the rest of their days in some comfort.
Both dogs were examined by a local vet. The older one was found to have problems with his sight and he relied on the younger boy to get around. He also had a slight growth on his eyelid which it was best to leave well alone given his age. Both boys had a touch of arthritis but, considering their ages and previous living conditions, it was not too bad and they were generally in good health and condition.
UPDATE 6 JAN 2011
Rex and Brandy were separated in kennels as Rex was eating Brandy’s food. We found they were coping very well separately so it was decided that they could be re-homed separately.
SOME GOOD NEWS
