Rose Ashwood

Dad Patrick said, “RIP to my precious Rose. Aged 6. Today I showed the true meaning of loving a dog and let her go. It’s been a long and hard 6 months of this cancer with ups and downs but I truly believe she didn’t suffer. Today was the first day she laid down on her walk and waited patiently whilst the others did their lap. And that for me was my clue. I had no intentions of letting her suffer or be laid on her death bed, she didn’t deserve that. I hope she is now with IRR Angel her best friend. Thank you to all who have supported me and hoped and prayed like me for a miracle, sadly it was not to be. Sleep well baby girl
While Rose is not strictly an IRR dog but one I ‘obtained’ from Irish travellers at huge cost. She was a massive comfort to IRR Angel in her final years so I owe Rose a massive debt for that besides her truly awful past.”
