Lir is a gorgeous Golden Retriever boy. He is aged 6mths and has just been neutered. Unbelievably, he was surrendered to be put to sleep. Lir (pronounced Leer) was the God of the Sea in Irish mythology.

HISTORY

He was about to be put to sleep as his owners no longer had time for him. IRR worked with Babydog Rescue in Ennis, Co. Clare and were able to secure him.

PERSONALITY

Like most puppies, he is inquisitive, affectionate and sweet-natured. He is a bit of a livewire and doesn’t stay still for long.

SOCIAL LEARNING

He is currently in foster in Ireland and we are awaiting a foster report for him.

Dogs: He is great with other dogs.

LIR’S DREAM HOME

An active family would probably be best for this great boy. It will be important to keep up his training so his new family must be fully committed to him and, in return, they will have a wonderful pet.

He is due to travel to the UK towards the end of March.
