VERY SAD NEWS (12.3.2015)

On 13th March, David told us “We had a very, very sad day yesterday as our beautiful girl Summer has left us for doggy heaven. She was our first IRR rescue from 2006 and she was the main reason for us wanting to help and foster. Bonnie has been very sad and lonely.”

Our hearts go out to David, Alison and Bonnie and our thanks go to them too for giving Summer the wonderful life that she could have only ever dreamed of before. Fly high with the angels, Summer.

Summer, who was originally called Ava, was surrendered as a youngster because, once the excitement and novelty of having a cute puppy wore off, her family no longer had time for her.

She had a very best friend, Bonnie, and has seen many foster dogs come and successfully go in recent months.
