Tilly Rabson
WHAT AN AMAZING LADY (February 2003- 4.12.2018)
On 4th December, a heartbroken Amanda told us “Our beautiful Tilly passed peacefully away at home this evening. She was an amazing 15 years 10 months old”. Tilly was happy, loving and affectionate and had that special brand of charm and wisdom that can only be achieved with age.
She is a shining example of the pleasure that can come with adopting a golden oldie. We can’t thank Amanda and her family enough for giving this wonderful old lady a chance and for looking after her so well in the Autumn of her years.
Fly with the angels, Tilly, and show them all who’s in charge when you get to Rainbow Bridge
EARLY HISTORY
Tilly came to IRR in 2015 because of a change in family circumstances. She was already 12 years old and due to her advanced years, it was possible she had cataracts. She had suffered with elbow dysplasia as a puppy and had metal plates in her legs but these did not appear to cause her any problems. In fact, she really enjoyed her walks.
To find Tilly the perfect home, IRR were willing to waive the adoption fee and promised to paythe veterinary fees for all pre-existing, on-going conditions.
TILLY’S DREAM HOME
Tilly, clearly, needed to be the centre of attention in a quiet, adult home where she could live out the rest of her life in comfort, warmth and love.
GREAT NEWS FOR A DEAR OLD LADY (SEPTEMBER 2015)
Tilly went to live in her perfect Forever Home on a farm near the sea.
