Tobie

Tobie is a stunning pale cream 14 month old Goldie pup. Tobie is in good health and is neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up to date with his vaccinations. He was fully health checked for his Pet Passport.

HISTORY

He was surrendered to IRR because his owners did not have the time to look after him and give him the care he needed.

PERSONALITY

Tobie is a typical playful and mischievous Golden puppy with a cheerful, tail-wagging nature. He is into anything and everything and is constantly on the lookout for things to pick up and carry around.

“Tobie is never happier than when he is getting cuddles or when he is enjoying some play time. He loves to play with his toys, especially the kind that squeak and will chase a football and will bring it back to you but has to be persuaded to part with it!”

SOCIAL LEARNING

Housetraining: Toby is now housetrained and will go to the door asking to go out.

Basic obedience: Tobie has received some training in the past and will respond to the commands “sit”, “lie down” and “come here”.

Lead walking: Tobie walks very well on the lead. His fosterer says:

“He walks by your side with a loose lead and matches your walking pace. He has met everyone and dogs of every size with a waggy tail and impeccable canine manners. People stop to admire his handsome looks and he has been a great ambassador for IRR’
Food: There aren’t any issues at meal times – Tobie waits patiently for his meals and takes treats gently.

Children: Tobie is great with children and is very tolerant and gentle with them.

Dogs: Tobie is always friendly when he meets new canine companions, either on or off the lead.

Cats: Tobie gets very excited when he sees a cat and would chase them if he was able to. “Tobie is an absolute pleasure to take out”.

TOBIE’S DREAM HOME

Tobie would love a forever home where there is a lot happening and where he can get lots of love, play, exercise, and training. He would fit into most households as he gets on fine with other dogs and he is good with children. A home with no cats would also be best.
