History

SUCH A HANDSOME CHAP

Toby was a neutered, male Golden Retriever approximately 4 years old who was rescued by IRR after he was surrendered to the pound.

FOSTER ASSESSMENT

Personality: Toby loves his cuddles and is very affectionate. He enjoys being groomed. His coat has come up a treat and he has lovely colouring.

He seems well adjusted, but like any true Goldie he thrives on lots of love and fuss.

Social Learning

He is fully housetrained and will let you know when he wants to go out. He understands basic commands and walks beautifully on the lead. He has been car-sick but only on very long journeys.

He loves balls and will play for ages with a tugger toy.

Children: Toby seems fine with children, as long as he gets a fuss, he’s not bothered.

Other animals: Toby gets on well with other dogs but he doesn’t like cats! He does get over enthusiastic with other dog sometimes – he is a youngish boy and loves to play, but he settles quickly.

TOBY’S DREAM HOME
Toby will be a fantastic pet, and would do best as an only dog. He is active and full of beans and will be a great companion in an active family.
