Toby
Age – almost 3 years Sex – male, neutered History
Unfortunately, Sammy’s owner has become totally allergic to him It has been very hard on the family having to make the decision to rehome him but knowing he would be going to a wonderful homemade it a little bit easier for them.
His owner wrote “The only thing to say about Sammy is he is the greatest dog you will ever know. We have been so blessed to have him as part of our family for the past two and a half years. He is the sweetest boy, he loves everyone and everything and enjoys being the centre of attention.
He absolutely adores children and is great with them. He has been raised with our two daughters aged 6yrs and 4yrs. He has been very patient with them, lying still when they have used him as a track for their race cars or when they have climbed on him. He has also listened to them when they were sad or when Mommy sent them to timeout. He would always be there alongside them.
He gets on really well with other dogs and loves making new friends when out on a walk. He is always ready for fun. Although he runs on a little ahead of us when out walking, he always checks to make sure we are following him and he has a great recall.
Sammy loves being part of a family and we hope he will be a great addition to his new family who will be as happy with him as we have been and who will love him as much as we have done”.
December 2014
Toby (was Sammy) has gone to his Forever Home in Ireland
December 2014 Update from Toby’s Forever Home It’s as though Toby was meant to be with us. He loves water, although he wasn’t sure about it to begin with. You can see how happy he is. He loves the children. He curls up on the sofa with Charlie, our other rescue. Sammy, my dad’s dog herds him home when walking on the beach but his recall is very good. He is addicted to the sea and seems he was born to be here. We have a house full of dog lovers this Christmas and will have the best time.
