BRUCE’S LABRADOR BOY
Uimi is Romanian for ” a surprise” but nobody was surprised when Janet decided to be his forever Mum which meant he would be staying forever with Heidi, the doggy Mum who gave birth to him on 29th April 2015.
He was her one and only baby and only full Labrador sired by Bruce.
Janet’s son, Simon, acted as midwife for this very big, healthy, purebreed Labrador boy and he soon became integrated and accepted into the family. His favourite “Aunty” is their old Lab, Fidget, who loves to play with him.
Because he had a whole milk bar all to himself, he is growing from a very big puppy weighing in at 21oz into a big, strong boy. On 23rd June, at 8 weeks old, his weight had gone up to 8 kilograms. Uimi’s Mum was Heidi, the beautiful black Labrador, and he was her only baby. This was really a very good thing as Heidi is not in the first flush of youth and she will have had many babies before during her previous horrible life in the puppy farm in Romania.
Uimi has gone from strength to strength, gaining weight and getting more handsome by the day. It was clear, almost immediately, that this precious boy would be staying with his Mum forever.
He is now living happily, in the East Sussex countryside, with Heidi, a cat, his two Aunties (a Lakeland Terrier and an elderly Labrador) and, of course, with Janet and Simon.
