Very Special Visitors

Two very special people came to see Kaleigh today – her owners, Kerry and Graham. It was so good to see the love they have for her. They have missed her so much. They were absolutely fascinated by her puppies as they had never seen puppies so young before. Kaleigh was ecstatic to see them, too.

We all had a good chat over a cup of tea and they got to know each puppy. They sat beside the whelping box watching the pups move around, trying to stand and walk. They are trying to balance on all four legs already and almost managing to walk a couple of steps. They are so funny.

I went shopping while they were here and took Fable and Tara with me so Kerry and Graham could have some special time with Kaleigh (and the pups). They got really stuck in and even both cleaned up some puppy mess which some of the pups kindly made for them :)) They soon became experts with the baby wipes! I think they were amazed at the amount of washing puppies produce in order to keep them clean.

Kerry and Graham arrived at 10.45 am, after a one and a half hour journey from Surrey, and stayed untl 5 pm and I could see the struggle within them as they had to leave Kaleigh again. I did feel for them, but they are going to come and see her each weekend so, hopefully, that will help the time pass for them until they can have her back again.
